Mister Mann

Mister Mann

Here comes Mister Mann again
Pretending not to give a damn again
Wearing a grudge on each shoulder
His act was old, now just getting older

Manny, we know your game by now
If someone's in, you wanna put him out
You hear a fact and wanna unfact it
The most basic truth, and you reject it

When you walk in, the sun turns black
Your company's pleasant as a heart attack
We could be all smiles, you'd show up dour
If rain is sweet, you can turn it sour

You tell Christians: "God is a figment"
You warn atheists: "Repent! Repent!"
If I go this way, you go that
If I say come forward, you step back

There goes Mister Mann again
Walking alone, without a friend
Wearing a grudge on each shoulder
He was old, now just getting older

Are they your original work. I really enjoy reading them and find them thought provoking. I am looking forward to reading more.
