More tips to saving big in Hawaii

Here are some other great ways to save big when visiting the Hawaiian Islands

I know when on vacation, the last thing you want to do is cook! However, eating is a huge expense when travelling. Sometimes, its just better to grab something to fix yourself, even if it is nothing more than a great sandwich and a big of your favorite chips and beverage. Research online what grocery stores your Island of choice has.  For instance, here on Oahu we have Safeway, Times Grocery and Foodland. If you don't already have a discount card for these stores, simply go in and apply before you shop. You will save big at the register even when you are far from home!

Since Hawaii's weather is nice year round, a lot of places offer year long passes into their establishment. If you are a frequent visitor to the Islands or just here for a few weeks, taking advantage of these offers will save you after just two to three visits. Getting a pass to Wet n Wild Waterpark pays for itself after just the first few visits. Not having to worry about full price admittance fee can assure if you really enjoyed yourself, you can go again at no cost but your food! This takes a definite ding out of your wallet or pocketbook!

Hotel bills got you down? Why not come to Hawaii and enjoy it in a more natural setting. For the price of camping equipment and your camping permit, you can enjoy a weekend of fun in the sun without paying outrageous hotel prices. You have access to bathrooms, showers and a beautiful beach. Can it get any better?

Forgot last minute items? Check out the Flea market at the Stadium every weekend! If you need it, they got it, I get my sunglasses there all the time! As well as t shirts and towels!  No need going to a high priced department store, especially while on vacation!

These are just a few more ways you can save big while vacationing here in the Hawaiian Islands. So get packing, the perfect getaway is just waiting for you!
