shot my nagant again today, i couldnt find my friends as they were a mile away running a bush hog so i fired one round and here they come! i love my nagant. its a m44 made in izvesh russia in 1944 still has the sickle hammer and wreath! the ammo im shooting is 1953 bulgarian light ball. ill be refinishing it soon, im thinking a light stain so the grain will still show as it is very nice. im looking to buy many more nagants here in the future although i really do miss my sks (mint yugo) though, maybe there is a amd65 in my future? only time will tell. but i guess ill still always love my nagant and the looks/awe she gets. the only thing i killed today was a dragonfly landed on a branch, the branch and a nice portion of earth was missing after the shot so i figured i did well!
