Two years ago, a seemingly revolutionary device went public - namesaked the Mosquito for the high frequency piercing sound it makes - with the aim to put an end to loitering.

The painfully annoying pitch is said to be undiscernable by most adults over 25, and such devices have since been installed in some 3,500 stores, schools, and municipal buildings around London, to prevent teenagers from hanging about after hours.

Sir Albert Aynsley-Green, childrens commisioner for England, is now calling for a ban on the alarms, saying they are Infringing on childrens rights.

With activists agreeing fully, and some human rights groups going as far as to call the alarm a "weapon against our children", Compound Security has been forced to defend itself, quoting the local police forces, who claim the Mosquito is responsible for decreasing and reducing delinquency.
