Mount Olympia, site of the first Olympics is threatened by raging wildfires racing across Greece. Five people lost their lives day, in this the third day of the wildfire, bring the death toll up to 57 lives lost.

The wildfire is racing across the countryside pushed by high winds and unphased by firefighting methods designed to slow or stop it.

Authorities are making herculean efforts to evacuate all the little towns and villages to save lives.
