Move over iPhone The Shadow is Here
posted October 29, 2007 - 4:18amRumors have persisted for nearly one month that T-Mobile was up to something good. That news has been verified when T-Mobile Chief Executive Robert Dotson announced the Shadow will hit the market on October 31st.
The Shadow's biggest upside is the price. It will retail for $149.99; a very affordable beginning for high tech junkies.
The Shadow is a Windows Mobile 6 device which looks somewhat like the Smartphone model. It's keypad is much like that of a Blackberry. The Shadow will come with a 2.6" QVGA screen and is said to be about 1/2" thick.
The Shadow is a major part of the way T-Mobile plans to do business in the future. Now known as a low cost cell service provider, with the Shadow device T-Mobile will now enter the premium services market; thus becomming a major competitor with AT&T.
With the introduction of the Shadow T-Mobile also announced myFaves, a service that allows T-Mobile subscribers to make unlimited calls to their five most important people.
