Movie in review: Beowulf

Main Stars: Ray Winstone, Anthony Hopkins, John Malkovich, Robin Wright Penn, Brendan Gleeson, Crispin Glover, Angelina Jolie

Story: The King and his men celebrate there victories with loud parties, drinking and women. Grendel grows tired and annoyed by the music and noise and becomes enraged. Grendel attacks the party and kills many men. Eventually Beowulf arrives with the intention of killing Grendel.

My Opinion: I don’t really know what to say about this movie. I saw it in the movie theatre and was really impressed. I loved the special effects, the dragon, grendel and all. I recentally rented it again and was excited to watch it. After re-watching it I wasn’t nearly as impressed the second time through. Im not sure if I just lost the feel because I knew what was going to happen or what. I would recommend seeing it, as I was very impressed my first time through. Be prepared for lots of blood, and screaming.
