The story of Tropic Thunder isn't what you find in any of the previews, movie-summaries or 'storybooks-to-come (lol)', and it's not in any of the history-books or news-casts that the works of Michael Moore and Al Gore reach; no, the reviews (I almost called them 'after-reviews'), awards-ceremonies and overflowing bank-accounts are the true story of Tropic Thunder!

(If you go into the movie-theater expecting a charming protagonist, a gnarling antagonist, a damsel-in-distress and a comic-relief all to be spoonfed into your brain as with most classics, you'll be sorely disappointed!)

One review we read calls Tropic Thunder 'a bunch of rich-kids throwing their money around so theater-owners can sell snacks to people watching the air-money show,' and–on some level–that's exactly what it is!

But we see these entertainment-professionals righteously tieing their lives to the worthy experience of promoting an enriching endeavor to the masses, and we will see that the true Tropic Thunder is in the fruits of the said endeavor.
