Mrs. Toad's Wild Ride: Obama Talks With David Letterman About Sarah Palin, His Smoking Habit and His Presidential Campaign

Brack was a guest on the David Letterman Show on September 10th, 2008. Dave starts off asking Senator Obama about his 'lipstick on a pig' comment for which the Republicans were calling for an apology; saying it was in essence calling Sarah Palin a pig. Obama clarifies the remark and explains exactly what lipstick on a pig means and what he was referring to. He goes on to say that Governor Palin is 'on a wild ride' (Is that a reference to "Mr, Toad's Wild Ride"? If so, does that mean he's calling her a Toad? Will the Republicans call for another apology?). Obama also talks about how he is kicking his smoking habit and how the 'fear' of his wife Michelle keeps him on track with that.

Watch David Letterman's entire interview with Barack Obama. Dave asks some good questions and gets some straight answers. Granted, it's obvious that Dave went easy on the good Senator, but it's still an entertaining bit and a good interview.

Obama always got some surprise

Nice videos and good selection... http://www.xomba.com/how_to_stay_happy_in_life

Mrs. Toad's Wild Ride

Good comeback by Obama... one could analyze any remark a candidate makes and show that it's used in some kind of offensive way at some point in history or the written word.
