MSPCA seeks group to take over Brockton Animal Shelter

The Massachusetts Society for the Protection of Cruelty to Animals (MSPCA) has started its "Brockton Beginnings" campaign, which seeks a new animal rescue organization to take over its Brockton facility, the MSPCA-Metro South Animal Care Center.

Due to a decrease in donations as a result of the poor economy, the MSPCA recently announced that it will be closing down its animal adoption centers in Brockton, Springfield and Martha's Vineyard.
