Music has been there,as long as civilisation has been there. As part of culture music occupies perhaps the most important place. It is a medium of expression,like painting, where the musicians own emotions find expressions. Music can carry a person to euphoria or soothe him/ her with the lilting sound.

The great classical musicians whose contribution to this field has made us so rich with the knowledge and the sound, needs to be acknowledged and revered. Our culture could not have reached the state that it has without the contribution of these great people. They were the pioneers who laid the pathway, which others could follow.
