My Apartment part 30

I heard her sigh. It sounded like a calming sigh rather than a sigh of exasperation. What is the difference? A calming sigh is long and draw out; a release. A sigh of exasperation is a short puff; a blow up.

"I have never had someone ask me that question before, Albert Dunn. Your aura is the energy that affects your entire surroundings; it makes up your world; it is how you see the world; it frames your world. Your soul is the energy that makes you; it is how you intepret the world; it is the thoughts in your head. At some point, someone will make something close to a human but it will never be human because we cannot make a soul. Your soul feeds your aura and your aura feeds your soul. One does not exist with out the other. Do you understand, Albert Dunn."

"I think so. You're saying that the energy we exude affects everything we sense and everything we sense is interpreted by our soul. Our soul then affects our mood, our thoughts, our aura, right?"

"Yes, you are on the right track."

"What role does god play in all this?"

"That is easy. God is the keeper of souls. He decides what souls are introduced into the world; what souls should be shared; what souls are to be destroyed."

A silver of pain shot through me again. I did not know how much longer I was going to be able to stand this.

"More pain Albert Dunn? This is good. The devil will soon let go of you."

"Why does the devil reside in us?"

"The devil is the destroyer of souls. It is God's tool to rid the universe of souls that do not work. The devil resides in you to await God's call to destroy your soul."

"Why would you then want to remove the devil from someone?"

"Because, Albert Dunn, the devil does not let you hear the word of God because he steals the word first to see if it is the word of destruction."

This was starting to get very weird.
