Prosper the Bloggers' Life-Force, Understand Internet-Wide Rankings-&-Records (e.g. Xomba.com's)

Uncle MythMan says ...

'Mousing-over' my MyViralSurfer homepage ('manually scanning' the page on which Craig Haywood- & friends offer MyViralSurfer-members the help they can), I found an "Alexa Rank-, Google PageRank- & WhoIs Information-Lookup."

Of course, I looked up my profile first (like a toddler with a mirror, I am ... lol), but the WhoIs-section wouldn't pick-up past the '/user.'

So I was impelled to look up the information on us Xombies' shared playground/work-place, and found:

About Your Alexa Rankings

Daily Traffic Rank Trend For Domain:
www.xomba.com

Daily Reach (per million) For Domain:
www.xomba.com

Daily Pageviews (per million) For Domain:
www.xomba.com

The way it looks today (though the above might've changed since 1/1/2009), Xomba.com loads-up in less-than two tenths-of-a-second, has-146,000 Google Search-listings & -701 Yahoo! Search-listings and is based (at least money-wise) in Fernanda Beach, Florida

Xomba's daily Alexa-rank sprang from 26-thousandth in August of 2007 to about 9-thousandth that September. It gained a little popularity over the following months, and has since fluctuated from 3-thousandth to 6-thousandth.

Xomba's daily reach from Alexa this past six-months has been a rough-average of 290-million (peaking at over 400-million with eight-million page-views in August, 'valleying' at under 200-million four-million page-views in September).

With a world-population of 68-hundred-million, you might guess we Xombies have a lot of work to do (to expand our reach 17-to-34 times); but I think we Xombies need to be more interactively-inviting/invitingly-interactive.

According to the ingenious brain-child formula of Stanford University and -Google, there is a 35%-44.999(...)%-chance that the average 'netizen' has been to Xomba.com recently.

That means we Xombies need to start/continue to 'gravitate' responses from our readers, and thus encourage other Xombies (new and ol-- renewing) to do the same ... to 'expect with a heavy sense of lack' (like the Major-seventh chord 'gravitates' the Major-base chord ... like the preposition 'gravitates' the ... noun ... of ... ... - lol).

@nick--Thanks for Setting Us Straight on the Mystery Man

It's funny; one of my Twitter-contact said this site (or the one we talk about somewhere above, he never clarified) is so ad-ridden that he had to mentally throw-up; but I guess he failed the test of the worthy Xombie (the ones who can bite back the bile long enough to make a worthy contribution). ---Uncle MythMan of the Professional Friends who GET MONEY for Echoing the Universe (the Wonderful World Above & the Beauty Amidst)

Brett

Brett is my partner, but is removed from day to day activities. Jeremy and I run the site. Don't trust Alexa 100%, especially with their traffic ranking. Xomba is incorporated under Xomba,Inc. I think the few remaining invisible posts will be cleared up once we launch the new web design. Brett's username was removed because the glitch with everyone becoming his buddy.

Brett = Abmox?

You know, no one's ever seen them in the same place, so maybe they are one and the same. Kind of like Bruce Wayne and Batman. And Brett no longer has a profile, it seems: /user/Brett leads to "page not found."

It Gets Better

and better. Is Brett a ghost lurking in Xomba's memory? Maybe Abmox can flush him out. Make a lot of money writing on Xomba. Join Xomba here.

Oh, he is still mysterious. He used to be the guardian

Brett was the early conscience of xomba, always in the background assuring the morality of xomba, occasionaly and invisibly, settling flameups or flames or flameouts. Originally, Brett was automatically everyone's buddy. I never asked brett to be my buddy. But there he was. I finally learned I could delete him as a buddy. I did, then nick must have bought him out paid him back or at least subdued brett's involvement. I do not know if brett has any status left here. but if xomba lasts and can bring my ice cores posting back, I think it is likely brett might still be here. At least, somewhere on an NSA computer brett is a memory. Likely a permanent memory. Maybe we should invite brett to post a history of his efforts at Xomba? Like a special long ago guest? or part of the infrastructure in need of repair..? Yo, Brett! Y'all aboard? Or R u just like me, a memory on the old sci BBs of usenet. Gone and all but forgotten. . .

Thanks Idlewild

The mysterious Brett

He is one of the co-founders of Xomba, or the guy who put up some of the money to found it, or both. I think one of the xombytes on the history of Xomba mentions him. He used to write xombytes once in a while, back in the Stone Age of Xomba (i.e., two and a half years ago).

Interesting Information

Good to know. Thanks. Now who is Brett C. Warner I wonder. Make a lot of money writing on Xomba. Join Xomba here.
