3 Doors Down:

  3 Doors Down is a modern rock which combines elements of heavy metal, southern rock, and grunge. They also have some mainstream pop and country style songs. Their sound is versatile and has something for everyone. Their live show is very energetic and gets better every year. The lighting effects are expanded upon with each tour. They also have fresh new opening acts which have included 12 stones, safety suit, and hoobastank in the past few years. They are definetely worth seeing for fans of rock music.

Hoobastank:

 Hoobastank is a new act from Los Angeles with a nice grunge sound. They were the opening act for 3 Doors Down in February at the Century Tel Center in Bossier City, LA. They also have an energetic show and do tributes to some popular classic rock bands at their shows. They did a great rendition of Pink Floyd's Another Brick in the Wall. It was very shortened from the original but sounded awesome live. It was especially awesome to hear live since Pink Floyd no longer plays together. They are definetely an act to check out.

12 Stones:

 12 Stones is a punk ronk band which has some positive and christian messages behind some of their songs. They also have more mainstream songs as well. Their song Adrenaline was featured on the soundtrack to the new Rambo movie. They are very energetic on stage and opened for 3 Doors Down in 2008 in Texarkana, AR and other places. They are from a small town in southern Louisiana close to New Orleans. They are a promising new act which is currently working on a third album which should be out in the near future. Check them out!
