My experience with a ghost child.

If you read my previous post called, Have you ever seen a ghost? , then you knew this article would be coming soon. I will have a few about my experiences with ghosts. If you didn't read it, maybe go read that first and come back to this article after.< p>

My experience with a child ghost wasn't frightful or scary in any way. I lived by myself with my son. I was 25 years old and completely sane.

I had always had some sort of paranormal experiences growing up but this one is fairly recent and still fresh in my mind, 8 years later.

It happened out of nowhere. I had lived in this apartment for at least a year already with no occurances. Then one night I get up in the middle of the night to tell me son it's not play time and to go back to sleep. To my complete surprise, my son is sound asleep in bed, not playing with his toys that I had heard. So I called his name and shook him lightly because I thought he was joking with me. Nothing. Sound asleep.

So I went back to bed thinking I really need some sleep and I was hearing things. The next night, and again the sound of my son's toys playing. So I got up, and again the same thing. I go into his room to find him asleep and no toys playing. Now I know I wasn't imagining anything the previous night.

Every night after that it continued, waking me up in the middle of the night to hear toys going crazy.

Some time after that my sister moved in with me. One morning she comes to me and tells me she was scared out of her mind the night before. She goes on to tell me that she was going to sleep, on the couch where she had been every night since she moved in, and she happened to look in front of her. She sees a little boy no older than 7 or 8 sitting on the coffee table at the end of the couch staring at her feet. She described him as the little dutch boy on the paint cans. He had the blond hair cut in the exact style as the boy on the can. He then just disappeared. She was so scared she couldn't sleep for a while after.

I told her I had been hearing my son's toys playing at night so maybe that is who was doing it. It had to be. I never saw anyone and she sees a child ghost in my living room.

I decided to sleep in my living room one night with my boyfriend by my side in case I really was crazy. I wanted another witness. So we set up the mattress on the floor and camped out. Once the tv goes off and the lights go out, it happened. I felt someone squeeze my foot. And before you ask, no I have no pets and my boyfriend was sleeping. I froze.

Did this little ghost child have a foot fetish? Who knows, but to my relief, he really was just playing. He played with the toys and for some reason had a thing for feet.

I happened across Montell on a day Sylvia Browne was on. She was talking about ghosts. No surprise there. She was saying that if you have a spirit in your home and you don't want them there, simply ask them to leave; to move on.

Ok, simple enough. So the next night, like clockwork came the sounds of the toys again. I was frustrated because of sleepless nights and I got up angry this time. I walked into my son's room and said, " I have to go to work in the morning. Will you please stop playing with the toys!" Can you believe I never heard the toys again? Never again. They had just stopped all together. Was he now free?

I almost felt bad. I mean, ok it's still a ghost but it was a child. I don't know how it works but could he have simply just moved on just like that? I guess I'll never know. I don't live there anymore. Sometimes I wish I did, it was one of my tamer apartments.

So feel free to call me crazy but this is a true story. However crazy I may sound.

Look for my next story, it involves footsteps and a phone cord.
