My First Month Writing for Xomba
posted October 20, 2008 - 8:17pmI’ve been a member of Xomba for about four weeks now. I am impressed by how quick and easy it was to join Xomba and get started earning money right away. Since I already had an AdSense account through Blogger, I was able to ad my AdSense information to my Xomba account. After setting up a brief profile and reading through all the information and FAQ at the site, I was ready to enter the world of Xomba.
Writing for Xomba has certainly been a new experience for me, as I’m used to creating content for sites like Triond and Associated Content. Those sites pay for page views on articles, not directly through a share of AdSense clicks. So when I first started on Xomba, it was a little discouraging to realize I was getting what looked like some pretty decent page views, but not receiving any clicks (how frustrating!)
I wondered if it would just make more sense to write articles for sites where I receive revenues for page views. It was pretty disheartening to have only about 4 cents show up at first in my AdSense earnings, even though I tried to sometimes post about three to five Xomblurbs a day. Time ticked by and I wondered if I would ever get any clicks on my Xomba writings.
Then something miraculous occurred! I logged into my AdSense account to discover I had 35 cents in my account overnight, then another day it was 95 cents. Those small clicks would add up and soon I had a few dollars in my AdSense account. About two days ago I was stunned to discover I had made $3.88 on Xomba in one day! At the time of this writing I have published 5 Xombytes and 27 Xomblurbs here in my spare time (imagine the potential revenues if I had hundreds of items published on Xomba!)
Soon I began to realize the power of Xomba. As I spend more time on Xomba, I’m beginning to think there is great earning potential on the site. I have to say I was a bit skeptical at first, because it was slow to get the ball rolling on Xomba, but now I’m a Xomba believer. I’m impressed with my Xomba first month’s earnings, because on one of the sites where I write for page views, I didn’t even meet the 50 cent earnings requirement for a payout the first month!
I think patience and persistence is the key to success on Xomba. I’m pretty new to AdSense, but I’m close to making my first ten dollars. Then I’ll work towards the $100 necessary to receive my first AdSense check. That first day of making $3.88 here shows that it is possible to accumulate enough daily earnings on Xomba to reach an AdSense payout.
What has worked for me? Well, I haven’t even worked a lot on Xomba, and I’ve already made a total of $6.01. I’ve tried to post some Xomblurbs that are about subjects that reflect the popular Xomba tags. I’ve also posted Xomblurbs that are on a wide variety of topics, so there’s something to attract a cross section of readers.
Also, I’ve tried to post more Xombytes lately. I find that when I put up articles on Xomba, there is always a small boost in my AdSense. Are Xomba readers more likely to click on ads on Xombytes? I’m not sure if this is so, but adding Xombytes as well as Xomblurbs has definitely helped my earnings.
I also find that when I take the time leave a comment about a Xombyte I enjoyed reading, my clicks sometimes go up too. I suppose this is because it lets readers find my profile and discover my Xombytes and Xomblurbs, which leads to more potential AdSense clicks.
I’m enjoying my time on Xomba, and I find it a fun place to write and read other Xombytes and Xomblurbs. Xomba could definitely become addictive! If you’re new to Xomba and unsure about your potential success, just keep posting some new Xombytes and Xomblurbs and give it some time. Before you know it, you’ll attract some readers and your AdSense earnings will grow! Good luck to you and much success on Xomba!

Hi Allison
Thanks for the great testimonial. After nearly 8 months being a member here I have recently aquired more time to dedicate to my writing and thought I should expand my mind with as many testimonials as possible. I too think this is a fun and rewarding place to hang out. It is hard not to be discouraged, but so worth it to keep the faith! :)
Thanks again,
Leora
p.s. I also agree that it is equally important to write on the site, as well as comment on and read the other author's posts.

Witing for Xomba
I really liked your down-to-earth and very realistic article about what to expect as you begin writing. I have to admit, that I didn't even know to check my AdSense Account to see if I had generated any revenue! I only started a week ago and have only posted a few articles. So far I haven't generated any ad clicks, but I'd like to give it a decent chance and your article has provided some encouragement. Thanks!
