My First Yoga Class
posted December 14, 2007 - 2:42pmI just started a yoga class this week so I thought I'd share a little bit about what I have learned.
Yoga is for the body, mind and spirit. You learn to use your body, your breath and your mind - all in harmonious balance to stretch, relax and energize.
Yoga relieves stress, and it boosts physical strength, stamina and flexibility. Yoga improves concentration and self control. Yoga helps with rabilitation of old and new injuries, and it intensifies tolerance to pain.
I have a lot to learn about yoga, so I'll share more in the future.
