My Hovercraft Is Full Of Eels

My Hovercraft Is Full Of Eels

Well, I guess you've all seen the classic sketch. John Cleese plays a Hungarian tourist and Terry Jones a tobacconist. Cleese tries to buy cigarettes and matches, but it turns out the translations in his Hungarian-English dictionary are totally wrong. "Matches, please" is translated as "My hovercraft is full of eels."

On this site, somebody really ambitious has translated "My hovercraft is full of eels" into loads of languages! Incidentally, it's "A légpárnás hajóm tele van angolnákkal" in Hungarian.
