my new toy

This new toy is a really cool. What new toy you might ask? I treated myself to some voice recognition software. This means that I can talk to type and not have to use the keyboard. I have been testing it all day and I really like it.
The name of the program is Talk It Type It. The price is $19,97, which is quite a deal because it came with a head set microphone. It is top quality and worth more than the price I paid .

This is by no means an advertisement however I'm going to recommend this product to you. It is very easy to program the computer using this software. The program types in all kinds of applications from word pad to e-mail. You can even use it in a Chat Room or instant messages.
I was skeptical at first because I'm not very technologically inclined. It took a bit of time to adjust the settings on my computer and to install the program. After testing the microphone and restarting my computer I could use the program.

One really cool thing about this program is I can record sound files on my computer, so I can send my voice or other sounds in an attachment to an e-mail.

The system is approximately 85 to 90 percent accurate. Accuracy can be increased by reprogramming the software according to your voice profile. This is done simply by reading selected text into a microphone.

good for these people. David Pogue, the technology columnist for the NYTimes, has some kind of repetitive stress injury and uses a program called Naturally Speaking to dictate his articles.

Sounds interesting. It's

Sounds interesting. It's probably perfect for people with carpal tunnel, and I know this site is probably littered with them. :)
