My October Xomba Earnings
posted November 2, 2008 - 7:52pmI’ve been writing for Xomba for about 6 weeks now, and I’m really pleased with the site. I’m completely new to Google AdSense and Xomba, and pleasantly surprised how easy it was to get started with both sites. I find Xomba and AdSense really user friendly, and it was easy to get set up with both sites and start earning revenues from my writing.
I joined AdSense and Xomba around the last week in September. I signed up for AdSense through my blog on Blogger, and it didn’t take long to get approved. Then I added my AdSense information to my Xomba account, and started writing some Xombytes and adding Xomblurbs. I’m a writer for a website called Triond, so I decided to also publish some of my Triond articles on Xomba. I have also added some new content to Xomba as well.
I decided to create Xomblurbs linking to some of my published articles, and also created Xomblurbs for a lot of interesting links I found online. During October, I did many Xomblurbs for Halloween and autumn, and some for the 2008 election. I had success with these Xomblurbs, but going forward I’m going to post more “evergreen” Xomblurbs (ones that will have a year round appeal and are not as dependent on current events or seasonal holidays for page views).
As a Xomba newbie, I didn’t get the chance to post too many Xombytes yet (I have created about 7 as of this writing). As October came to an end, I had about 50 Xomblurbs (and in the last few days of the month I increased that figure to 78.) I was able to accomplish this by working part time on Xomba, with most of my attention given to other sites like Triond.
At the close of October, I was thrilled to see my total AdSense earnings for the month at $15.85 (and my total AdSense earnings are $17.23 as of today). This is a lot more than I earned in my first month on other writing sites, and I hadn’t even put in a lot of time on Xomba yet. Because I made my first ten dollars on AdSense, I was notified I’d soon be receiving my PIN information through the mail. As soon as I earn my first $100 on Xomba and verify my PIN and other necessary info at Google AdSense, I’ll be receiving my very first AdSense check through the mail!
So it’s been exciting to work on Xomba, and starting this month of November, I’ve decided to focus a lot more time and effort on writing for Xomba. I find I’m really enjoying my time here, and excited about the earnings potential on the site. By working hard on Xomba, and putting in more time here, I’m eager to see what my November AdSense earnings will be!
