My Right Wrist

TWINGE!!!
It's getting worse. The twinges, pings and pops in my right wrist are getting progressively worse. It's not the typing so much but the scrolling on the mouse. When I first started feeling the effects of carpal tunnel syndrome, I looked up the how-to avoid it tips. The biggest piece of advice was to switch the hand that was controlling the mouse. I hate that piece of advice. There is nothing so clumsy or slow as me trying to scroll with my left hand.
I work in a field that requires updates of massive spreadsheets monthly, daily, hourly. For eight hours a day, I'm inputting data, extracting it again, recording inspections and field notes, and the filing and emails must be filed and answered.
Then there's the nights. I love to write whether online or on paper. The first twinge fades in slowly around 7:00 PM and then starts to ping louder about an hour later. It's when it finally goes pop that I have to call it a night.
I have included a website that not only gives you tips on how to avoid carpal tunnel syndrome, but also how to recognize the warning signs/pains so you don't end up in the same place as me.

To be honest, I don't do some of the tips they suggest but I have recently made an effort to learn the keyboard shortcut keys to cut down on the overall daily number of keystrokes. I wish someone would build a better mousetrap so I can scroll a little longer and read a few more posts.
Peace,
