My Top 5 Writers here on Xomba

Being that we have inducted a new round of Hall Of Famers here on Xomba, I have decided to list my favorite writers here on Xomba. No real criteria went into this list other than writers whose work I truly admire in one way or another. Now, be warned, I am an old-timer here so most of these writers you have probably never heard of before. So click the link and get aquainted with them - its well worth your wild.

1. Lady Peninhand - Lady P was quite active here in the early days of Xomba and really helped create that sense of community that is now here. More importantly for me was the fact that she got my writing. Anyone who has read just about any of my posts will realize I write with a lot of sexual undertones (maybe some overtones as well). I feel the characters sexuality is deeply important for me to convey my story. Lady P was the first one to get that and encourage me to continue exploring those themes. While she was never the most talented writer here she could definitely surprise you when she wanted to - check out The Shower Scene to see what I mean.

2. Micheleg4153 - Michele is about the most talented fiction writer I have read on this site. I thought I was Ok until I read The Believer and realized I had a long way to go. The spectrum of emotions she could bring out in just a few paragraphs was amazing.

3. Cara Gunderson - Cara was a favorite here in the early days and is fantastically funny. Read this little number about her in her socks to see what I mean. The humor in her articles always seemed so effortless - like she could pop one these out at anytime.

4. Publius - Pub is probably the most talented writer here in my opinion. While I very rarely agree with his politics, his articles at least make me think and evaulate my stance. He never speaks from the cuff, articles are researched so he knows exactly what he is talking about. He will challenge you and make you know your stuff as well. He is very opinionated but I do not feel that that is necessarily a bad thing. Oh, and don't be fooled by the bunny - he'll rip your heart out. Read any of his articles to see what I mean.

5. Mia Morthwest - Mia has picked up the baton from Cara and Lady P. She involves herself deeply in this Xomba community and always has a kind word for everyone. On top of that she is a fabulous writer and can make me laugh out loud. My favorite is her supehero series - check this one out about Wonder Woman.

Well, there you have it. I know there are many other of your favorites here - feel free to tell me who they are.

Cute cuddly bunnies have

Cute cuddly bunnies have never ripped anyone's heart out. I don't know where you get that from. However, I do take issue with one of your comments about me. You said I "never speak from the cuff." That's not true. I've written entire Xombytes like that - some of them have been quite long. It may just seem to be well-researched and thorough, but that's just a testament to my intelligence and memory. (Oops...there goes my "ego" again. Yeah - I still have to play my role as the "bad guy." Some "arrogant right-winger" has to be hated here, otherwise there'd be no point for the "lefties" to exist.) Thanks for the kind words. Although I usually don't comment on your articles, I do find them entertaining. Overall, it's been an interesting three years here. Who is Publius? What is Rational Liberty? How do I join Xomba and get PAID to write?

Taprial Definitely

I have truly enjoyed Taprial's writing. And Rawnak has come up with some good articles too. Make a lot of money writing on Xomba. Join Xomba here. View My Profile.
