Nakota's Story: German Shepherd Rescued From Cruel (and Stupid) Owners

Nakota, a 2-year old German Shepherd, had a broken leg from being run over by an ATV. The leg was set and casted, but the owners, in their infinite wisdom, removed the cast to stop Nakota from chewing on it, then tightly wrapped the leg with layers of duct tape! The dog was left tied in the yard until one of the owners noticed a foul odor and took Nakota in to the veterinarian for treatment. Of course gangrene had set in and the festering wound was open to the bone under the tape. Nakota had to have part of her foot amputated. The owners relinquished ownership to avoid animal cruelty charges. Nakota's veterinary care expenses were paid through donations.

Pets and Kids

For most of my adult life, I have thought that maybe it wouldn't be such a bad idea to require people to take a test before they can take a baby home from the hospital or get a pet. (Just something simple with basic common sense and legal questions..kind of like the test for a drivers license.) Click here to find out how you can get paid to post items like this. That's Horrible

That's horrible. I don't understand how people can abuse their animals that way. <3
