Nancy Grace Biased!
posted March 20, 2008 - 2:40amIs there anybody else like me who thinks Nancy Grace is the most biased people. I’m going to get out of the way. From time to time Nancy Grace will be on my TV. because I have the crappy Direct TV package with no locals and basically 5 cable channels
for $50.00 a month. However when I decided to leave my TV. on while I’m doing work and the conservative station CNN news is on here comes another conservative show “Nancy Grace” who loves to talk. For about a year I have noticed that there have been so many African American deaths, but she never talks about that. I am not a racist or prejudice, but all she talks about are Caucasian females. I feel saddened by the lost for their families and I also feel lost for the African American families. In Auburn and in UNC there were two murders of Caucasian females. Those murders received lots of media attention.
Almost a year ago a freshman black male from Tuskegee University, which is 10 miles from Auburn University was killed execution style. This never made it to the National Media and it only made it to 2 local Montgomery news stations for 2 days and wasn’t even featured for that long in the programs. This is my problem. As a African American I am used to seeing our lives valued less than someone who is whites. That mentality goes all the way back to slavery when dogs were treated better than humans and it still goes on today. Everyday I sat their watching them talk about the murders feeling sorry for the family loss, but also mad because people like Nancy would be so irate about the situation and wanting to help, but where were they and continue not to be when anyone from the African American community is killed. The student at Tuskegee was not a “thug” or a criminal. He was college student who wanted to succeed in life just like the two females from Auburn and North Carolina.
