I hear the national debt being mentioned countless times on Bloomberg and as a former Forex Trader I understood the reasons why this should be concerning us. How can we comprehend a figure so large and when will we be able to clear this debt and who owes who? These are questions poeple need answers to and until these answers are addressed we will continue into a downward cycle of prosperity.

Where this downward spiral will lead us I do not know but until we all start taking individual responsibility of our actions and exercise some discretion in the way we tackle this problem we will almost certainly be heading for another calamity.

While the national debt has increased significantly under GW. Bush's reign I can only hope that President Obama can use his term to add more power to the brakes of the debt and the next President to get us out of this mess.
