Here is a little collection of natural recepies and tricks for natural ways to help asthma.

* these are not substitutes for your asthma medication* 

  • Drumstick leaves are good for asthma. A soup prepared with drumstick leaves cooked for 5 minutes and an addition of salt lemon, and little pepper should be taken daily. Consuming this soup everyday will help build your immunity against bronchial asthma attack, according to lots of people who have tried it.

 

  • If you always get cooking fumes to fill your house, it could be worsening your bronchial asthma condition. Making sure that the cooking fumes leave the house right away will lower your bronchial asthma attacks. These fumes and smell are known triggers of asthma attack.

 

  • Treating asthma by using a breathing exercise is known to be good. A breathing exercise can be, building up inhalation period from 4 to 16 seconds and exhalation periods from 8 to 32 seconds. This could be done while lying on your back or sitting up. Very easy to do and you can get good results very fast.

 

  • Anise seed (Pimpinella anisum) is a organic herb that is good in treating asthma. Anise seed has an anti expectorant, a good natural way to treat asthma. It helps easy breathing and soothes coughing.

 

  • Try boiling garlic cloves in milk and drink this "potion" every day

 

  • or boil the garlic with ginger for a tea

 

  • put a red onion in a jar with 2 tbsp of sugar and seal tight. It will make a juice. Take 1 tablespoon of that juice everyday.
