NBA Names Finals MVP Award after Celtics Legend Bill Russell

William Felton "Bill" Russell (born February 12, 1934) is a retired American professional basketball player who played center for the Boston Celtics. Bill Russell, the cornerstone of the Celtics dynasty in the 1960s, won 11 championships as a player and coach but never a Finals MVP award.
