Neal E. Boyd Wins America's Got Talent 2008, and what happened to 2007 runner up, Butterscotch

America’s Got Talent just names Neal E. Boyd as the 2008 winner. He will receive one million dollars and a year run as a Vegas headliner. His runner up, Eli Mattson http://www.musictoears.com/eli.html will be on his own to make his way. My personal favorite was Nuttin’But Stringz http://www.nuttinbutstringz.com/ who were the most original act in the show.

Mulling over the losers of the show who I hoped would win, I couldn’t help but think of last years 2nd place winner, Butterscotch (Antionette Kai’Maiya Clinton) and wondered where she is right now. Well, she didn’t slink back home after losing the first place title. She is currently performing touring as you can see on her MySpace page http://www.myspace.com/butterscotchmusic and is working to make a name for herself.

I hope the other runners ups, do the same. All of the top 5 were pretty impressive.
