Though the name is unsubstantiated, people are calling the Iranian girl whose murder, at the hands of a Basij rifleman, was caught on film an broadcast all over the world.

It is unclear as to whether she was even taking part in the protests or just an onlooker, however reports have stated that a Basij rifleman, clearly took aim and shot her in the chest.

Neda has become the most poignant image of the Iranian revolt as the citizens in Iran struggle for Democracy.
