Need To Keep Your Gas Guzzling Car? Tips To Get Better Gas Mileage

Drivers are making a dash to trade in their gas guzzling car or SUV for the more fuel efficient car or hybrid. Unfortunately, not all drivers can afford to trade in their gas guzzler because the loan balance on the car exceeds the worth of the car.
In other words, you're stuck with a gas guzzler car for awhile. Here are some tips for getting better gas mileage from your car.
Change any bad driving habits that you may have that burn extra gas, like rushing a traffic light and having to slam on your brakes, revving up at a green light, fast take-offs,. Drive slower, reducing your driving speed by 10mph gets you better gas mileage.
Combine errands with your daily work commute so you drive less overall.
If you are multi car family, drive the car that gets the best gas mileage as often as possible. Ride public transit if available to you.
Make sure that your tires are properly inflated and get your gas guzzler car tuned up.Keep your car windows rolled up and use the AC, it makes your gas guzzler car more aerodynamic and will save gas.

Debatable point

Keep your car windows rolled up and use the AC, it makes your gas guzzler car more aerodynamic and will save gas. It used to be believed by many that running the AC burned considerable gas; however that's pretty much been debunked. But with today's already aerodynamic car designs, the gas saved by keeping the windows rolled up may be just as insignificant as not running the AC. ↑ Grab this Headline Animator My Brain Hurts!
