Nerf N-Strike Vulcan - Are We Having Fun Yet?

I had my husband and my 9-year-old boy help me write this one as you know, I am not really into gun battles.
My son got a Nerf N-Strike Longshot CS-6 a few months ago. He had so much fun that he and my hubby decided to get the new N-Strike Vulcan EBF-25. And they are just having a blast with these guns.
The Vulcan EBF-25 comes with the blaster, a ammo box, folding tripod, 25-dart belt, and 25 Sonic Micro Darts. It requires 6 "D" size batteries, which, of course, are not included.
You can play Vulcan in both automatic & single-shot mode. In the auto mode, the Vulcan will shoot 25 darts in 10 seconds. There are also Belt Refills you can buy. My hubby went out and got 5 refill belts as soon as he used the Vulcan the very first time. It just seems silly if you are playing it with auto mode and only have 1 belt.
The Vulcan is very well constructed and sturdy. My son accidentally dropped it from 2nd floor and it only had minor scratches. Still shooting as normal.
My husband said if he had to buy another Vulcan, he would get the Value Pack which comes with extra 25 darts & dart belt, and a shoulder strap. The gun can feel a little heavy after a few hours of mission so the shoulder strap really comes in handy. Plus you need extra darts anyway. Right now he made a shoulder strap himself but of course it doesn't look as "cool" as the original.
Since they are so happy with both the Longshot CS-6 and the Vulcan EBF-25, they are really looking into other Nerf products. I think I am going to get the Nerf N-Strike Wii game for them to go with the Vulcan EBF-25 this Christmas.
If you have not picked out a Christmas present for boys (or guys), the Vulcan EBF-25 would be a great choice. You can't go wrong with it.
