Game Review:
No one can argue that saving the rainforest is a bad thing. EcoRescue: Project Rainforest has great intentions, trying to get people more aware about such a really important issue. The trouble is, there's a fine line between a suggestion and a lecture, and this game heads into lecture territory. I felt a bit like a scolded child, boo hoo!
The graphics are good (the tree frog is really cute - see him in the corner?). It's really a great idea, but it needs more polish. The hidden object game play is also a bit too simple (although a few objects had me stuck, like the clear trash bag in a white cave).
I think I would have liked the game more if it focused on the different locations and animals in the rainforest, instead of ranting about all the environmental horrors happening which we can't fix anyway.
Where to get the game, or play the free demo:
Big Fish: $6.99
iWin: $9.99 ($6.99 with Club iWin)
