Neroli's Game Review - Gold Rush: Treasure Hunt
posted September 13, 2009 - 7:00amNeroli's Opinion: This is a match 3 game that has you smashing tiles before they reach the top of the screen. It's repetitive, and very basic, but good when you want to play for a few minutes at a time.

Game Review:
Gold Rush: Treasure Hunt feels almost like tetris. You need to play quickly in order to stop the blocks from piling up. Whenever you see clusters of tiles which are color matched, 3 or more of a kind, click them to bust them up. There are special tools, like picks, which smash up all tiles of a color. The level is over when you've uncovered and matched 3 rocks of gold. It's really easy to learn, but the pace is fast!
That's about all there is to say. It's a real “back to the basics” sort of game, without any fancy graphics or sound effects, and very little to do other than the obvious.
I wouldn't want to play it for hours on end (it would get too repetitive, quickly), but it's fun when you just want a game to play for a few minutes at a time. I gave it a neutral rating, because I'm not sure if you'll want to play much longer than your one hour free demo.

iWin: $9.99 ($6.99 with Club iWin)
