Game Review:
Jojo's Fashion Show 3: World Tour is a time management fashion game that puts you in the Jimmy Choo's of a world class fashion designer.
The first JoJo's fashion show was ground breaking, blending real fashion with time management game play. If you haven't played it yet, you can get it free with ads on iWin. Next came Jojo's Fashion Show 2: Las Cruces, which improved on the original formula, with more fashion choices and more involved game play. Both games were great, but Jojo's Fashion Show 3: World Tour is the best yet, allowing you to do neat things like zoom in on the outfits.
You get to design outfits in different quirky styles, like Gothlic Loli -- to quote the game, this is like “Little Boo Peep at a funeral” – or Kimono Kraze. You get a lot more feedback than in earlier games, and the styles are more complicated, relying on regional trends. When designing new outfits, you select the clothing, fabric, pattern, and colors, and earn more points for fulfilling as many fashion requirements as possible.
Once you get to the fashion show, you need to dress models according to requests over their heads, while trying to make combos by cuing up models with the same theme. I live in blue jeans and t-shirts, so you'll have to take my fashion opinions with a grain of salt. However, I found most of the combinations outlandish. I mean, a pink and blue kimono with orange sandals and a red pleated skirt? I guess it's no worse than the real fashion world. You aren't judged on conventional matching skills, so check them at the door when you play. Regardless of your fashion sense, this game is addictive, and probably the best fashion game on the market.
Jojo's Fashion Show 3: World Tour is funky and different, sure to please fans of the series. Just don't take the fashion advice to heart!
