Neroli's Game Review - Sprill and Ritchie: Adventures in Time

Neroli's Opinion: No pressure hidden object gaming, with a perky family-oriented theme.

Game Review:

Sprill and Ritchie: Adventures in Time is the third Sprill game, after Sprill and Sprill: The Mystery of the Bermuda Triangle. I found the theme a bit juvenile in all of them, so I imagine it would appeal to a younger audience or adults who like  more “perky” games.

It's a hidden object game, so no surprise that it's a Big Fish Games exclusive. You know, they LOVE hidden object games over at Big Fish. This one is pretty good in terms of graphics and game play. You collect a variety of things, like all the pieces to a piggy bank, or all the modern items or food in a scene. It changes constantly, and the graphics are very clear. With unlimited and quickly refilling hints, it's not too difficult either.

In addition to hidden object scenes, you also play all kinds of minigames. These have you doing things like putting together items, figuring out patterns, and shooting at sea monsters. You shouldn't get stuck, but if you do, Big Fish even has a walkthrough.

The game has 33 levels and 52 mini-games, so it's involved and there's plenty to do.  It's also a pressure free HOG, so it's great for people who like to relax when they play games. I thought it was pretty good.
