A New African Ocean

According to scientists, a new ocean will form in Ethiopia slowly in the next millon years. The Red Sea is parting inch-by-inch as well, and will eventually connect to this future ocean. This formation is caused by a rifting process that occurs at the bottom of all oceans; however, the depths of the oceans is still a geographical mystery to earth scientists.
