New laws about your credit cards kick in today of Aug. 20, 2009

New laws that kick in today are meant to protect you, but could bring some unwelcome discoveries. Basically there are two major changes about the credit card from the credit card companies: They must clearly notify you before they would increase the interest rates on your credit cards or cut the credit limits, and they give you more time for you to repay the balance after you receive your bills, meaning the longer grace periods. And there are more other small changes which you have not heard of and you do want to hear.
