New Republican Attack: If You Don't Agree With Them You Must Hate America

Now that it looks like this election is getting away from them, the Republicans have decided to start denouncing people who don't agree with them as anti-American. I can't decide whether to laugh at the irony of these statements or become enraged by them.

First up, we've got Robin Hayes (R-N.C.) who had this to say about liberals:

Awesome isn't it? Not only do liberals hate America, they hate God too. By the way, Hayes is running against a very formidable opponent in Larry Kissell this year. If you have some money to spare, drop a few dollars into his campaign here:

Next, we have Rep. Michelle Bachmann calling for a return to McCarthyism:

Absolutely disgusting. Her opponent is Elwyn Tinklenberg lets help him out and donate to his campaign here:

Next we have McCain spokesperson Nancy Pfotenhauer:

Sorry everyone that lives in big cities or even suburbs of big cities, you don't live in the real part of your states.

And finally we have McCain's own running mate, Sarah Palin:

This has got to stop. I am not a Democrat or Republican, I am an American and I am outraged. We cannot sit idle as good, honest people are being smeared. Vote Obama/Biden and end this nightmare.

I will be glad when elections are over too much trash going on

Celanith UGH more trashing and bashing. I am an Independant voter and vote as I choose, sometimes for a Republican, sometimes a Democrat and sometimes some other party. First I do NOT like either of the presidental chosen media hyped candidates from the two primary parties. We get to chose, Tweedle Dee or Tweedle Dum. Whoopie. Guess what I Voted for The constitution Party. Why is it EVERYONE thinks you have to vote for one or the other of the IDIOT OR STUPID parties. Why Not from the Smart Party. My point being Americans are caught in a rut and can't seem to see they DON'T have to vote for one of the two main parties and there are actually better qualified men or women than the two main party candidiates. I don't like McCain, or Obama I don't see where one is one Whit better than the other. So here is an idea. Cast your vote and pray Not for who you voted for that is NOT what God wants. Though you can tell him you would like "Obama" or "McCain" to win remember God also says we are to pray HIS God's will be done. So in the end we are going to get the person God chooses as he determines and wills, we help by casting our vote and doing our part. As to whoever becomes president. Remember this as well. It is was not just Bush, it was the entire Congress every Congressman or woman and US Senator who has helped get us where we are today. Bush was only part of it. So vote wisely for your congressmen and women and US senators as well. Why are you so angry. Especially if you claim to be Chrisitan's what a way to act as a Christian that is certainly not becoming of one.

Celanith

Hello everyone, stop and set awhile.

Why does she remind me of Ann Coulter?

What's up with the angry, mean Republican women. How can you walk around with that much hate inside you? To win this election, just like the last two they have to break out meanness, xenophobia (being afraid of the world outside the U.S.), and of course how God "is on their side". Just like Al Qaeda hijacked Islam the Republicans have hijacked Christianity in their propaganda campaign. Now, with this windbag we are going back to the McCarthy witch hunts of the 50-60's.

Yes, but...

It's hardly new.

Hey... I'm a Democrat but why is it that

every time you question Obama or if you are critical of his background like his associations with Ayers, Rev Wright, Tony Rezko, etc you are considered "Racist?" I know people who are Democrats but don't like Obama's past associations with ACORN and the others above. These Democratic voters' lives have been threatened, and they are called names. Believe me... it goes both ways... just take your pick - Obama/Biden or McCain/Palin .... It's politics as usual.

Donations

Yes, the donations have been through the roof for her opponent. It looks like there are lots these so called anti-Americans out there for her to contend with.

Hear, Hear!

I read an article today about how Bachmann's Democratic opponent received a lot of new donations over the weekend and the race that Bachmann was running away with has suddenly evened up. What the Republicans are forgetting is that America is tired of the partisan lies and innuendo that marked the past eight years with Bush. Rather than addressing the very real concerns of very real Americans, they would rather continue to spread fear and division amongst us. This appears to be all McCain has left and all the Palin has period. Change is coming and it is not coming from the Right. DO YOU HAVE THE WRITE STUFF?
