The new Touchscreen BlackBerry Storm has been officially released.

The new cell phone, which Verizon is hoping will be able to do battle with the iPhone and the Google Android-enable T-Mobile G1, looks very cool.

The BlackBerry Storm is a touchscreen (as I mentioned) and looks very stylish.

A lot of people are looking for more out of their cell phones. They want a PDA/phone/internet explorer/portable tv. I haven't jumped on that wagon yet--I'm still using my phone strictly for phone calls like you.

That's right--it's more like carrying a mini-computer around for many people. I was almost temped to get a BlackBerry, but the service is close to $100 a month at least for my plan.
