New York Giants (10-1-0) vs Washington Redskins (7-4-0) NFL Week 13 Today 1:00PM EST
posted November 30, 2008 - 12:57pmIn a high profiled matchup the New York Giants battle the Washington Redskins. The Giants are first in there respected divisions and hold a record of 10 wins and 1 loss. The Giants this season are once again legit Super Bowl contenders. They are favored to go far in the playoffs this season. The game is set to begin at 1:00PM this afternoon and will be shown on either CBS or ESPN.
Last week Shawn Springs intercepted Matt Hasselbeck's attempt at a touchdown to seal a 20-17 win for the Redskins in Seattle. The Giants became the first team to leave Arizona with a victory this year, winning 37-29.
Keep your eye on head coach Jim Zorn, the Redskins have been inconsistent offensively as they learn his West Coast system. New York's Steve Spagnuolo, meanwhile, is regarded as one of the league's best defensive coordinators even though he has been in that role less than two years. In the Week 1 meeting, Spagnuolo's defense got the best of Zorn's offense, now it's Zorn's turn to try and counter.
For this game I am picking the Giants to win in a high scoring game. I am picking both teams to go on the over of 47.5 points.
