New Zealand Vietnam vets to bring $5 Billion lawsuit against their government...

The news that a $5 billion lawsuit is being launched against the New Zealand Government by Vietnam vets has apparently made headlines across the world, and probably caused a few jitters in Australia and the US.

New Zealand troops who served in Vietnam were volunteer regular troops.

The lawsuit relates to soldiers beng exposed to the defoliant Agent Orange.

The NZ Vietnam Veterans Action Group has sought the help of an Australian law firm to take the government and individual ministers to court.

Overseas media is expected to take up the story in future.

Thee has been widespread support for the lawsuit from overseas sources.
