News of Death of Travis Barker Still Spreading

News about death of +44 drummer of Bling 182 band, Travis Barker is still spreading like wildfire on the Internet.

News of death of the drummer Travis Barker first surfaced on a news site of Myspace. It claimed that Travis Barker died in a car garage on Nov 13. Since then the news has spread over the internet about the death of the drummer.

I hope some news agency comes forth and clears the air. Imagine how Travis Barker will feel when he happens to know about the hoopla created over the world wide web?

I pray and hope that Travis Barker is hale and hearty and has a long life.

Humorous

Idlewind, you have nice sense of humor ! I see your point. But then this all this cannot be helped. Things will happen. Non-report will get posted, news will be Olds, but then that is how the web is.

Yeah,

I'm bored with people claiming to wish someone is alive, while enthusiastically spreading the news that he MIGHT be dead, based on nothing. Yeah, you see no need for thinking before slavishly following what's on the Google hot topics list. That's the problem; this is just a mindless, copycat me-too post. You say you're "reporting news" --what news is that, the fact there is no news to report? Being "part of the group"... a herd of sheep is more like it! I can imagine what posts we can look forward to in the future from you: 'Travis Barker not denying reports of his death' 'News of Travis Barker death are spreading as the news spreads' 'More people writing about the spread of Barker rumors as people continue to write about it'

Are you hassled about something, Idlewind?

Seems to me yes. But it is just my way of being a part of the group. I like to report the news as i see it. Its no use trying to decipher or estimate the traffic before writing. Just enjoy being at Xomba.

It's still spreading because of junk posts like this one!

... None of which are offering any new information! If he had really died 3 days ago, don't you think it would have been reported on the news? It's amazing to me that most of the people posting this 'rumors still spreading' crap claim to like Barker or to hope that he's alive. If you like the guy, why are you spreading harmful information without even a shred of evidence? Oh, I know-- "well, everyone else is doing it!"
