NEWS -the new source for entertainment.I had grown up learning that news provides us with information around different corners of the world.But now ,yes they provide us with information but with entertainment.Sometimes it just feels like these news channels are out of topics and shows some bullshit articles
I just happened to see a program where they showed the cat fights between the actors.Does it make any difference to any one of us.I think its a big NO.These news channels have forgot what exactly news is?
If they are really looking for news there are so so many political&social issues which could be raised and brought to public & thus using media in a more effective manner and not just getting better than daily soaps.NEWS channels can be very effective in raising public awareness like the one initiated by the tv today network called "THE FIGHT AGAINST TERROR".
