An Army psychiatrist opened fire at Fort Hood on Thursday in an attack that left 12 people dead and 31 injured. The alleged suspect Major Nidal Malik Hasan is a 39 year old from Virginia. The Major had previously worked at the Walter Reed Medical Center where he had received a poor performance report. Hasan was scheduled to be shipped to Afghanistan.
