Night Falling Faster

Fall RoadFall Road

Night falling faster
Sun loses blaze
Wind raises goose bumps
with crispier days

Leaves turning redder,
orange, golden brown,
softening foot steps
that fall on the ground

FallFall

Rain bathes the earth
Scenting the breeze
With foliage and dewdrops
And moss from the trees

Chimneys sigh
their wood-smoky swirls
As Autumn’s
lazy descent unfurls
