Nintendo introduces new DSi colors!

Are you one of the many people who really wants a Nintendo DSi, but find the black case just too emo? Having a hard time getting behind the powder blue DSi? Help is finally here as Nintendo releases their record breaking hand held gaming device in two new exciting colors, white and hot pink.

The white DSi looks to be an immediate favorite, as your DSi and Wii now can share not only the same wireless network, but also the same shelf space without any color clashing. The pink DSi offers an excellent opportunity to gift a DSi to your girlfriend giving you a great way to finally get your hands on one, and still looking like the good guy for getting her electronics that match her favorite pair of shoes.

The new colors will undoubtedly create even more sales momentum for Nintendo's market leading device, and should get the sales to rev up nicely before the holidays. With the new Legend of Zelda game just confirmed for a December 7th release in the US, the DSi is shaping up to be doing very well this Christmas.

The DSi has already invigorated hand held sales for Nintendo, which is very impressive when considering how successful the DS has been world wide. With increasing competition from the iPhone and the newly released Zune HD, Nintendo is clearly pulling out all the stops to hold firm as the undisputed market leader for hand held gaming devices.

As both Apple and Microsoft are moving to position their mp3 players more as multi-entertainment devices, it will be difficult for Nintendo to maintain their current grip on the market, time will tell if their innovative approch to touch screen gaming and the surprisingly entertaining digital photo capabilities of the DSi will be enough to keep the competition at bay. At least now you can get the DSi in very ipodesque shiny white plastic.
