No jailhouse rock this year at Arthur Rd

The boisterous mood that typified Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations in the Arthur Road prison every year will no longer mark the festival.

For, the 100-odd accused of the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts, who formed the core group of every celebration in the prison, have been convicted by the TADA court and subsequently moved to other prisons in the state.
