Noel Gallagher, one of the founding member of the British rock band Oasis, has announced his decision to  quit the band. Noel made this announcement on August 28, 2009. He has cited the inability to work with his brother Liam Gallagher as his reasons for leaving the rock band. Noel made the announcement stating "It's with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I quit Oasis tonight.
