Allow me to brief you about the story behind this poem. When I was in sixth grade, I spontaneously wrote this nonsense verse as an English Literature class work assignment. I was only eleven years old at the time. To my great surprise, my teacher was extremely impressed by my affinity with poetry and motivated me to become a poet. I dreamt a dream while wide awake,

A hungry mouse was devouring a snake.

He said it was delicious, he said it was good,

He said it was the best of any food,

The mouse went to the doctor's where he saw a fatboyslim,

The hungry mouse killed the boy, then the boy killed him.

The mouse felt so sick that he sank into his liver,

And there he drowned in a very deep river.
