North Korea's Rocket Launched

North Korea launched its rocket from its base on the east coast despite warnings and mounting pressure from US, South Korea, Japan and several world nations. The liftoff happened on Sunday (02:30 a.m. GMT) from the coastal launch pad at Musudan-ri in the northeastern region. Read more on this news here.

Maybe it really was just a satellite?

I would hope that maybe the US and especially Japan is just suppressing the ability of this extremely destitute country to launch a necessary satellite. What it is going to be used for is anyones guess, but maybe it is not malevolent as Japan keeps suggesting. It has been confirmed that the rocket was not designed to hit Japan from the South Koreans who absolutely despise the North.
